To be sad that Tesco are reducing the value of Clubcard Rewards

Used to be 3 x value of your points, now it's twice the value. I remember when it was four times the value 😟

We save ours all year for a much needed and looked forward to big meal out. We won't be able to afford that now.

Such a shame, particularly with the CoL and all.

Such a shame, I used to save ours and when you got quadruple points would use for Eurotunnel crossings for our summer holiday. I guess the prices of the partners have increased so much that they have to reduce the amount each point can buy...

I think all the points systems will be going the same way. Another sign of economic trouble brewing.

I just converted all my BA Avios into Nectar points, as it was just about impossible to spend the Avios via BA. I will just use up the Nectar on the weekly shop now.

I converted all my Avios points. You could only use them on the most expensive hotel or holiday rates so they really weren't worth it.

Tesco will lost a lot of custom if they ditch the Clubcard prices I'd imagine.

With many people having to be more careful with how they spend their money, shouldn't the supermarkets need to attract more customers?

nectar is okay, you can link to eBay and argos, also one of the petrol companies and of course sainsburys and they send really good vouchers for example save 4.50 on a 30 shop and includes alcohol which tescos never does

I've just read the email too, it is a real shame. I use mine to pay for Disney+. I don't use Tesco that much, and if anything it will reduce significantly as the local Tesco Express that we used regularly has changed over to a One Stop.

I really need to spend my Nectar points though, I'll be gutted if they lose value.

Didn't know you could do that. I've got loads of Avios, but it's really difficult to use them.

Oh god I didn’t see this. I’ve been saving them up for a meal out. It’s not the biggest deal but it’s nowhere near as attractive at x2. I might go back to Lidl. I was only using Tesco for the points and the convenience of getting it delivered

It was really easy. You have to link the BA and Nectar accounts, then just do the transfer online.

The old Tesco Clubcard app is being ditched from the 18 April and is being replaced by a new one. No indication of changes to offers.

I guess people can trade their clubcard points into 3x reward vouchers before the June deadline, and then have 12 months to use them.

I’ve used tesco for so many years because of the points. 2x just not worth it so another customer going elsewhere.

I really like the Asda rewards - they seem to rack up very quickly and there are lots of ways to boost the points. I think one of them recently was buying five portions of fruit and veg, something like that!

Asda is a lot cheaper than Tesco too it's a bit of a win/win!

Really really annoyed me this has, even more so when I found out their profit was 2.6 billion last year... I think I'll go back to shopping at aldi too

The also don't give you coupons anymore e.g. 100 Clubcard points for buying something which is very annoying.

I think they are reducing the points offers to put more into the instore price offers due to the cost of living
It's sad but this always happens. We used to have a Goldfish credit card which gave great rewards then they reduced hugely so we switched to Tesco. I don't think there is anything gives a decent payback now

I've not had any for years
