Used to be 3 x value of your points, now it's twice the value. I remember when it was four times the value 😟

We save ours all year for a much needed and looked forward to big meal out. We won't be able to afford that now.

Such a shame, particularly with the CoL and all.

Oh 😳😩 I haven’t seen this yet. What a shame! We love saving ours for a pizza express!

Xrays · 17/03/2023 19:28

Still showing as 3x the value on the app. When are they changing it..??

woodhill · 17/03/2023 19:29

Yes saw that

Didn't go from 4 to 3 that long ago

verballyincompetent · 17/03/2023 19:30

They're not doing it until June but yeah I'm gutted. I only have a Tesco credit card etc for the points!

Xrays · 17/03/2023 19:33

I might just fuck off to Aldi then to be honest. The only reason I really shop at Tesco is the deals we get on the points. If they’re going to keep cutting them back they’ll lost customers.

Beseen22 · 17/03/2023 19:33

Can you put a link up? Can't find it. That's really annoying, might try and use them up before.

I just googled it. Loads of news articles about it.

toomuchfaster · 17/03/2023 19:46

I've just had an email about it. I'm not bothered as I stopped shopping there ages ago due to cost increases.

donttellmehesalive · 17/03/2023 19:48

Boots reducing their advantage card points too

Chasingsquirrels · 17/03/2023 19:49

From 14 June, I received the email this afternoon.

I left Tesco mobile when they stopped offering double the value to use points against my bill, and found a better deal elsewhere. The clubcard is now only good to access the offers in store, it has little loyalty value anymore.

They’re actually stopping the offers in store too.

Way to go Tesco!

BubziOwl · 17/03/2023 20:01

The 3x reward points was the only reason I've been loyal to Tesco and Tesco mobile - will definitely be looking at switching both for food and mobile now.

Icecreamandapplepie · 17/03/2023 20:02

Loyal to tesco for years. Primarily due to the reward scheme.

Will finally be free to shop elsewhere. I feel quite liberated! Seems an unwise decision, I can't be the only one

No offers at all? What's the clubcard for then? The points spent in store work out as a 1% discount 😆.

Okunevo · 17/03/2023 20:05

Clubcard prices are still showing in the app, when are these stopping?

MintJulia · 17/03/2023 20:08

To be honest, the amount I spend in Tesco seems to be reducing by the week.

They stopped selling decent wholemeal bread, now they've removed the fish counter and the deli. I pass Waitrose collecting my ds from swimming each Saturday so now split I my shop. And this week I tried buying meat from the butcher instead.

Tesco will just be for fruit & veg and cleaning materials this week.

To rake in your data. It’s always been about the data and tracking what customers buy.

Poppyblush · 17/03/2023 20:17

No changes until JUNE!

Blort · 17/03/2023 20:18

Oh no!

If there are no offers then why will customers bother/remember to use it for only a 1% discount?

CanIAskAnotherStupidQuestion · 17/03/2023 20:22

If they do away with instore offers they will have to put their prices back to normal then.

You can always tell what’s planned for offers because the prices shoot up massively a few weeks beforehand.

Babooshka1990 · 17/03/2023 20:30

Annoying, people just aren’t going to shop there as much are they. I got all our Denby with Tesco points.

When I was a teenager my Nan would convert them to restaurant vouchers and we would go to London for a weekend to see shows and eat out. Better times.

Yes Denby offers are really good
