I don’t know who she is but having tried a couple of online yoga clips I know what you mean. They’re basically just admiring themselves and go way to fast. No instruction at all.

I'm very selective in the online yoga teachers I can tolerate. Any woo and I'm out. Try Cat Meffan, she's much more matter of fact.

The first one of her series I tried was literally just five minutes of breathing. If you can’t breathe for five minutes without losing the plot then you might need more help than yoga. 😂

Maybe you jumped in to a difficult one? Try one of the very short ones or start at the very beginning of series like Move m.youtube.com/watch?v=Pmlh6AHFW0E&list=PLui6Eyny-Uzyp5P3Vcuv5qCHQOC8W6grN&index=1

I find Adriene too calm, too quiet? Not sure.

Try Lottie Murphy, she's from London and you can hear the tube rattling past in her videos! I prefer her. She not shouting at you to give more, but she's not irritatingly zen either.

I love Adrienne.... bit of a girl crush... she's just so chilled!! She does have something for all levels though so maybe find something easier.

I second Lottie Murphy but she’s teaching Pilates, not yoga if it’s yoga you want. She’s also annoyingly bendy- even heavily pregnant..

😂 I love Adriene, but it did make me laugh. I've been inflicting yoga on my body for 20 years and my hands have still failed to meet the ground.

Yoga with Uliana is good. She's got lots of 5-10 min practices included seated ones where you don't have to feel woefully inferior. 😎

I actually really like yoga but Adrienne gets right on my tits. I also find it annoying how she acts all hippy and chill but went hard on the SEO etc.

I second Cat Meffan and also recommend Yoga with Kate.

I find her earlier programmes suit me more, maybe because they're a bit more focused on the physical rather than the mental side, I'm not sure. Every year she does a 30 day free programme in January. The first one I did was in 2017, called Yoga Revolution. I keep going back to that one rather than using the newer ones. Maybe it's just nostalgia :)

She is very encouraging, and very keen to suggest adaptations and focusing on what you can do rather than what you can't. And I almost always feel better afterwards. Sometimes a nice dog joins her, which is a bonus.

I think she's great and enjoy doing the workouts! But if you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it so yeah, have a beer instead!

Hope you enjoyed your beer @Hedjwitch! I did Adriene videos in lockdown but browsed the playlists on her channel to find ones that suited me (generally the short ones!)

Not for me, I like in person yoga.
It costs a lot to train as a teacher and it can be hard to make a living when there's so much free on YouTube.

It's fine if you don't want philosophy woven in but then that's just physical movement it isn't yoga.

This is the first day of the programme that I like. She doesn't throw you into anything too quickly. I sometimes have a cup of coffee while I'm doing it :)
