Asking about stair vacuums

Please can you all tell me a great handheld vacuum for my stairs. They have a bend in them, and I can't keep lugging my Dyson (which I'm happy with) up and down.

Had a vax- terrible. Had a shark- hubby broke it, but I also wasn't blown away with it for the price!

I've got a shark, love it but I've started brushing the stairs with a stiff brush (dustpan and brush type brush with a handle).
I find it's quicker, gets all the dog hair and gets in the corners, plumps the carpet pile up lovely and then I hoover up the all bits from the stairs when I get to the bottom.

I was blown away by the Bissell Pet HairRemover when I first got it, I didn't realise that our stairs were that dirty and we'd been vaccing them every week!

Seriously the best tool for the stairs if the carpet has any pile is a pets slicker brush, or if you have a corded or sisal type, a rubber hand brush

Just work top to bottom, it really doesn't take long and at least you can sit, just vacuum what you have collected up at the bottom of the stairs
