To ask why enormous adverts

Are covering 2/3 of the screen on my phone so I can only see a few lines of text?

Same here. ATM it's an ad for Toast that doesn't scroll out of the way.

Really annoying...I'm happy with a small bar at the top but half a page ...ffs. mines also advertising Exante and I've just eaten some cookies 🐷

I had that this morning but it has gone back to normal now.

This happened to me a few mins ago. When I tried to write a post, with my keyboard taking up some of my phone screen too, I only has a tiny strip of screen left.

Me too, my ad is Holzkern... which is nice, but bloomin awful trying to read under it.

There’s a long thread on site stuff about it. Mumsnet are apparently trying to fix it, but not sure why it’s taking so long. I keep giving up on threads because it’s too annoying.

I've downloaded the app because of this issue.

Not sure if app is any better, no adverts but no page numbers on threads and defaults to start of thread on ones I sm on or watching. Since the big update several months ago the site is so much harder to read/use.

On the site stuff thread they said to clear cache and delete cookies to solve it but nope that didn't do anything. User interface on here gets worse all the time and it'll be the reason I eventually stop using the site

It's making it impossible to read or post. I don't want a bloody fluid crepe shirt.
