Baby fall

I mind an 11 month old baby girl sometimes to help friends of mine. On Wednesday afternoon I noticed baby had a small bruise on her head. Wasn't there when I collected her and knew it didn't happen with me. When I dropped baby home mum told me that she had fallen of a bed that morning.

I was shocked I hadn't been informed 1st thing so I could watch for signs of a head injury ect.

It's their 1st baby.

Aibu to say to parents that they should have told me. We talked numerous times throughout the day and nothing was mentioned.

The parents should have told you! A head injury has serious implications.

I would assume they thought it was OK and didn't need too, not sure why it being a,first baby has anything to do with it?

There is not actual manual with any baby on what to do or not we all just muddle along

We can also say 'well I would have' or 'I don't feel the need' wouldn't really change much
