Haven't seen her since I was pregnant with DD1 and we have 3 under 2's and a 7-8 year old to entertain!

Oh god!

why ask if your being unreasonable?

ChirpyGirl · 11/02/2008 10:56

Cos I am bored.

And I am wondering if it is not the most sensible idea I have had..

it will be fun!we went yesterday and was a nightmare but im sure youll have better time lol.
does she have children?

ChirpyGirl · 11/02/2008 11:06

Yes, we have 2 kids each.
I'm sure it will be fine but I don't go places on half term as my 2 are too small to be at school, so I just hide inside!

and I have to get the train there...

Shall stop panicking and start looking forward ot it

itll be fine
take plenty of snacks for when boredom kicks in!

cadelaide · 11/02/2008 11:15

I always do this sort of thing with very, very low expectations, then you can't really get disappointed!

moljam · 11/02/2008 11:17

i was all excited yesterday thinking how much ds2 would love it as hed not been before-the only animal he liked was the turkeys and was more impressed by some lights and air ambulance which flew over! strange lad-youd think he sees lions and monkets etc every day!

ChirpyGirl · 11/02/2008 14:29

I know, I took DD1 to our local monkey sanctuary for her birthday last week, there are monkeys, foxes, wolves, lemurs, gibbons, shetland ponies, pigs....so on the way home we asked her what she had done that day

'Mummy, I saw cat!'

FGS!

I know we should cat64, unfortunately we live on oppposite sides of the country and are meeting in the middle after 2 hours train journey each as we are both SAHM with DH's who work long hours and houses too small to fit the other family overnight so otherwise we wouldn't get a chance!
