Car stickers

Bizarre question but husband said he found couple of amusing car stickers for the car, I asked so what were they- one was prats in the car, second was no wife and children left in the car overnight and third was this car runs on fairy f*rts.

I told my husband they were all juvenile, insulting, and definitely not funny. My husband said I lack a sense of humor.

Do I?

I saw this on a van a few months back. Useful to know.

They aren't funny on first reading.
You'd get to read them over and over every time you walked round the car.

I would never have them on my car, but I did laugh 😳

I had "I'm going as fast as I can" on my 800cc Chevrolet Matiz. It was mainly to warn those behind me when I was going up inclines.

Oh God a thread with which I can share the trauma of seeing a van with a sticker on the back of "I <3 Sushi" and a stick figure couple engaging in oral sex. I felt quite queasy.

Really not keen on car stickers, the only sticker adorning my car is my national trust one for the car parks on the windscreen. But if that's your humour I suppose 2 is alright

I once followed a car which had an I Love Dogging sticker on the back. I got level with the driver at the traffic lights and he was an old respectable looking fella about 70. Not sure why that made a difference but I didnt expect it of him!

They all sound immature to me, but then I'm old.... And probably grumpy.

I was at a party once and saw a guy with a T-shirt that said "nice legs, what time do they open?"
And I just rememeber thinking - who is that for? like I can't imagine anyone thought that any women would be impressed by it, so it must be for men - but I think even the kind of men that would find that funny would only give it a bit of a chuckle when they first see it and then it's stil written on your chest for the whole rest of the night!

Similar thought to the bumper stickers actually - even if you find them funny the 1st time you see them, surely you wouldn't the 2nd?!

I can’t stand number stickers like that. Just sad.

That said, I do think it’s a shame there’s a real lack of eyelashes on car headlights these days.

I toyed with getting some stickers for my ex's precious car that looked like awful scratches on the paintwork - soooo tempted, but then I remembered how he'd nag on for ever about how the adhesive had ruined the paint, even though they'd be non-paint-spoiling ones & the potential humour of it just vanished.

Shame as the thought of seeing his horrified face was very tempting.

Don't they do something to your car insurance?

Juvenile and pathetic, imo. I have a horse decal and a 'Slow down for horses' sticker, nothing that a 5 year old would laugh at.

Did they ever ask you if you have stickers on your car while asking for insurance quote?

See this stick? See yourself? How about removing it..... life is to short to get "distressed" about such things. If it's the most you have to worry about?
Also I would "never" you do realise you're extremely lucky to even be able to afford to run a car.

To paraphrase "Life is what happens when you're too busy getting distressed and distracted by absolutely nothing"
