Looking for a birthday gift for my little girl who is 5 next month. I’m usually quite good at her present ideas but this year I am drawing a blank.

could anyone share with me their daughter’s favourite present from Christmas or Birthday?

thank you ❤

Polly pockets goes down well. A Yoto? A trip to the theatre?

Sticker dolly dressing an absolute yes!

Fancy dress outfit (sainsburys Tu is excellent for Disney princess)

Orchard toys games

if you have a console in the home then " just dance"

Yoto player (we love ours in this house)

If there's nothing she specifically wants right now, get her a small gift and something larger when there's something she really really wants.

Magna-Tiles and board games seem to be favourites with my daughter of a similar age. Oh and she loves schleich bayala toys.

Not sure why this is in AIBU....

Mine still loves dolls and all of the accessories like push chairs, high chairs, bath tub, etc. Also still loves her play kitchen and all of the things that go in it (toy f
Blender, mixer, play food etc).

Arty stuff? DD has a Crayola light up tracing pad, which gets lots of use. Other craft ideas: Aquarellum painting sets, Spirograph, watercolour paint set.

Games: junior Cluedo, Catan

Science set: e.g. one of those 'make your own volcano' sets?

Books: a kids' encyclopedia?

Soft toys also still popular with DD (nearly 6) - her favourite is a huge shark from IKEA.
