The language used in it is really unpleasant.

It's the sort of 'lad banter' that would be created and/or shared by the kind of man who has a Naked Babes calendar hanging up in the garage.

But all the women who find it funny and are chuckling away as per the thread responses are, I bet, also the same ones who come onto threads and go on about how they share porn videos with their OHs and such like, and they're just soooooo modern and cool.

The alternative term given for curvy could upset someone. Surely being rude and crude about women in general is unacceptable.

That was definitely authored by one of those sad acts on OLD who has been rejected by every woman on there. It just drips of self loathing, and woman blaming. I don't see misogyny here, so much as internalised self hatred by a man who hasn't touched a naked woman in decades, hasn't left his parents basement in a year, and lacks the social skills to make the magic happen.

If your husband finds that funny, his bar is set pretty low. These sorts of 'jokes' have been around for decades.
