Sensitive tongue and lips

I’m having a really odd problem at the moment and getting a doctors appointment is like trying to buy hens teeth, so I’m just wondering if anyone has experienced this and knows what it could be!

For the last few months my tongue has been really sensitive (sometimes worse than others), it stings when I use mouthwash or eat anything with vinegar, sometimes my throat also gets sore. The inside of my lips also feel sensitive and a little tingly and the inner corners of my mouth are really sore, it feels like a papercut and when I yawn it hurts. Everything looks normal though, no cuts, or ulcers or anything like that.

I thought it could be oral thrush, I’ve not had it before but I started getting these symptoms after some dental work so wondered if that might have caused some kind of imbalance, so took a thrush pill, which seemed to help at first but not for long.

I get eczema and it seems to flare up just before my period every month now and I think it might be related to age and possibly being perimenopausal, so I’m wonder if that might be influencing this new issue too.

Has anyone experienced this? Any idea what it could be?

Hi there did this ever go away? My tongue has been so sore for a week now and I just can’t figure out what it is. Especially along the edges and tip.
