I’m nearly 21 weeks pregnant and lately I’ve been so uncomfortable I’ve had piles and they just haven’t gone away so I’ve learned to deal with the pain and got some cream but no avail, they’re hanging around. Tonight I’ve been in so much pain I’ve done some investigation and I have a pile still but not only this I have a massive lump coming out of my behind. It’s like attached to the pile. It wasn’t there yesterday this is new, along with pain that feels like I’ve got glass stuck up my arse.

So AIBU to go back to go drs tomorrow and find out what this monstrosity is coming out of my behind. I cannot push it back in, and it hurts so much 😭

It sounds like another pile. Pregnancy piles are actually the worst. I completely sympathise with you and know the horrendous pain well. Go back to the drs, let them check it and tell them you need something to be done. They will tell you that they will disappear once the baby is born, which is true, but you shouldn’t be in pain for that long!

I’d personally call maternity triage for this. They can probably give advice far faster than your GP.

Sounds like a thrombosed haemorrhoid. Common but excruciating

It could be a thrombosed pile. Very painful - get checked though if it is, they may not be able to give anything but anaesthetic gel and strong steroid pile cream. You have my sympathies, it’s the worst pain

I was prescribed unaroid for this as MW said anusol did nothing for it. Best of luck hopefully GP can give you something similar'

I was looking on google as you do. And rectal prolapse come up so I’m glad none of you have said this! I’m waiting until 12am hopefully new slots open up! It feels like I constantly need to poo, even after I have pooed and it feels like I have shards of glass stuck up my arse. It’s honestly excruciating 😖 I push it up it doesn’t stay up 😭😭

Went to my gp today. She had a look and said I have two piles, one is squidgy one is rock hard and thrombosed she could see the clot inside one of them. Sent me on my way with some anaesthetic cream and instructions to get some ice and put it in a glove of some sort as it can help shrink. Might affect delivery so she told me to speak to my consultant when I see them and said I could have surgery if they’re still there after delivery. I’m still in so much pain. My arsehole stings like I’m shitting shards of glass 😭😭
