Boots staff recognition

I know this isn't the right place but I don't know where else to put it.

If I email Boots with a compliment about a member of staff, does that get fedback to them and do they get some sort of proper recognition?

Our local boots only has enough staff on the pharmacy counter and click and collect. The only beauty counter that ever has staff is no7 (who is often run off her feet) and sometimes Benefit. You HAVE to use the self service check outs which seem to require staff input for 99% of transactions but no staff to deal with it. The amount of abandoned shopping is crazy so there are regularly tills out of order where people have just given up. I avoid it unless I have to go there.

I had excellent customer service yesterday which is really unusual. Not because the staff are awful but because there just aren't enough and they have too much to do. I'm going to send a compliment but I know from experience that it's not always fed back to the staff member. I'm curious whether it's worth doing. I will anyway.

Defintely do send the feedback. Hopefully it'll be passed on to the staff member. An even better way to do it is at the time in store. Ask to speak to the manger and tell them while you're still there.
