Parrots in cages - wrong

OnTheBoardwalk · 01/03/2023 21:45

watching caught red handed show and someone is complaining their parrot in a cage in a locked garage every night has been stolen

there’s a house n the street behind me that has a parrot in a shed in a tiny cage

how do owners think this is normal and acceptable?

It is not acceptable. I have had birds, and their cage was their safe space and bed. They had free reign otherwise.

I hate it when I visit someone and they have birds in a cage in the house. I see it as cruel

I've posted about this before but was told by RSPB there is nothing they can do

moving a parrot into a shed surely shouldn’t be allowed?

Nothing should be locked in a cage in the garage all night imo.
Maybe every shed needs a moral burglar...
