Going crazy a few days before illness

Is this a thing with little ones?

I've noticed it twice in my Dd, 4 and it’s happened again.
For the last few days she’s been off the wall, very hyper and crazy really, hard to control and just a bit of a nightmare.
This mornings she’s woken up back to her *Normal self, but is red cheeked with a high temperature and saying she doesn’t feel well.

Is this a thing that happens?

Yep. My ds had recurring ear infections when he was young. I always knew when one was on the way, he was a horror for a couple of days.

Yup, I'll often be despairing of my son's behaviour, then suddenly think 'Ah, I bet he's coming down with something'... and sure enough, a day or two later he does. He's reasonably well-behaved most of the time do there's a definite difference.

Yes it’s a thing in our house too!
