I have been matched on Tinder . . .

. . . but I'm not on Tinder and never have been.

I've reported the e-mails as "phishing" but this has happened twice and I'm wondering if there is anything else I can do about it.

I don't want to join Tinder to cancel Tinder if you know what I mean.

Has anyone else had this problem? How did you deal with it?

Put a filter on your email to send straight to delete.

Are the emails actually coming from a tinder email if you hover over the sender address? I'd guess not and it is "just" phishing.

I've had loads of these over the last few days. It's just spam and not actually even coming from Tinder. Just keep blocking the email address.

SprinkleRainbow · 27/02/2023 09:24

Report it as spam, don't click into the email or links etc. And delete.
Your email will have been sold on from a 3rd party and it's just a stab in the dark attempt to catch people unawares.

Thank you, all.

It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only person getting them. I'll just keep reporting as "phishing" and not opening them. (Not that I wish this on anyone - it just make me feel less targeted, IYKWIM).

It's just so bliddy irritating!

They are being sent straight to my junk folder. I do weekly mass deletes - usually (literally) hundreds of spam sh1t!
