I've been approached and offered a job in the industry I worked in pre children. I have 2 kids, aged 5 and 16 months.
My current job is £10.40ph with little chance of pay rises - my wage varies depending on if we've finished earlier or later etc.
It works round the children (weekend and 1 weekday so no childcare as DH has youngest 1 week day)
Hard physically but mentally easy work.
More more over summer
Flexible
Minimal travelling
The other job is
£11ph and 15 hours a week.
No weekends - a bonus! but means I'd have to pay around £50 a day each week for 1 day childcare
Some chance of progression, but probably very little without uni
Slightly more travelling
