Feel rotten- important work presentation tomorrow I can’t miss

Ive been feeling rotten all weekend, tried to dose up to shift it but I’m still feeling awful. I’ve got a day of meetings tomorrow at work tomorrow where I’m presenting and I can’t miss it - what do I do?! I’ve tried to rest up, drinking plenty of fluids but whatever it is is making me feel rotten. I always tend to get poorly when it’s something important on. Please help?!

Why? Will somebody die?

Sugar!

If it’s a cold type thing then day nurse, caffeine and chocolate gets me through if I really can’t miss it

Don't go in and ask someone else to present your slides.
Present virtually.
Rearrange your bit.

Unless you're Ursula von der Leyen, I bet it can be reorganised.

Honestly , if you're really not well enough, you'll have to miss it..what's the worst that can happen..also if it's that bad, you are probably contagious, if it's some kind of flu type thing , and you will give it to everyoneEnvy

Sleep OP - can you go to bed now? I would get everything ready for the morning, lay your outfit out, sort our food, laptop etc etc then have a shower or bath and get into bed. Even if you’re not asleep just laying in bed, watching something will rest your body. Drink plenty, eat as much fruit as possible. Can you do your presentations online?

Ask someone else to do it?

SilverGlitterBaubles · 26/02/2023 17:52

I'm pretty sure your colleagues will not want to catch whatever you have. Email now and ask them to rearrange or can you do it remotely?
