Thought I'd ask this here as it's a bit more generalised health...Will try to cut a long story short!
Our son (almost 4) had covid about 9 months ago, his only sympton at the time was a high temp really, was still fine in general, plenty of energy etc. Since then he's had cold symptoms, phlegm, coughing, he just hasn't been quite right since and these symptoms have been ongoing for about 8 months. Recently he's been having coughing fits at night, struggling to breathe and catch his breath, but is then fine through the day and running about happy. We took him to the doctors & hospital who wouldn't do a test for asthma etc as he had a chest infection at the time.
We've had him at doctors who palm it off as being a covid generation kid, antibiotics and out the door. We are taking him back tomorrow and thinking it could maybe be asthma as mentioned before.Just wondering if anyone's kids have had anything similar??
