Converse high tops and thick heels?

Are these converse shoes for young people?

Saw a pair with the big thick heels yesterday. Liked them. Im not going to say how old I am but are they for young people? Are they comfortable? 😁

DD has had a pair for a while. She's just turned 18. They are extremely popular with girls of her age.

Converse shoes are not good for your feet. They're very flat and really you should have some sort of heel.

I had a pair and found them extremely uncomfortable, despite being the right size it never felt like my foot was sitting properly in the shoe...felt like the back of it didn't come far enough up my foot

Most converse trainers are really uncomfortable in my experience!

A lot of people find converse uncomfortable because they’re extremely flat and have no arch support. They also have a very flexible soul which isn’t good for support and long days. That being said, a decent custom insole would help, I have them in mine and they’re soooooo much more comfortable and supportive. Definitely a fashion shoe over comfort and support.

I’m flat footed so absolutely love converse.

Some trainers have what feels like a golf ball digging into the sole of my foot!

I think those thick soled ones are more likely to be worn by teenagers, but wear what you like OP.

Pretty much the uniform for the more alternative 50 somethings I know. You might be a bit young for them!

I think they look cool on everyone. I wish I was a bit more confident and I'd definitely wear them.

The last pair of converse I bought had memory foam soles which is incredible. They're super comfy.

I wear arch supports in all of mine and they are so wearable now. Can walk ages in them
