I’m always ill

I’m just getting over what I think is norovirus or some kind of gastro bug, I had one just before Christmas and one in the summer too. I’ve never had so many bouts sickness and diarrhoea. I always get a fever with them too and horrible body aches.
Along with those, I’ve also had tonsillitis before Christmas and what I think was the flu. Then various sore throats, blocked noses in between.

I am slightly overweight, I try and do exercise but it’s hard as I have a 4 year old with possible ASD (awaiting assessment).
I think I’m unhappy with my life for the most part, I live 3 hours from my family and although my in laws live here, they have a few health problems (they’re older than my parents) and it’s not the same as having my parents here.

I’m not keen on my house, we struggle financially too.

It sounds as though you are run down, not helped by the stresses in your life. What is your diet like from the point of view of getting enough vitamins? Have you tried any supplements? Have a look at things you can take to help your immune system function - I take a multi-vitamin plus a daily garlic capsule.

If you can get out and about just for walks (now we are heading out of winter) and get some exercise that way, it might help.

If the gastric problems continue I would see a GP in case there's an underlying issue, such as IBS, that needs treating.

Eurgh sounds awful and depressing. Can you look to move? Fresh start? Is your daughter in school or nursery? Might be where you're catching bugs from ? Put you both on Sambucol or similar it's great.

You could well be low on vitamins, wouldn’t hurt to ask GP for a blood test.
I think sometimes you get one illness and it’s like dominos going down as you get subsequent bugs.
