DH not come home

What do I do? DH went out after work and his friend has said they left at around 10.30 so he should have been home an hour ago. He’s not home and it’s very unlike home not to come home. I’m very worried

Or

(D) he may have been spiked.

E) whacked over the head but not remember that bit

He was probably just sitting on a bench and maybe passed out for a bit. I was called by the police once to fetch my husband. He'd been out at a work do and the alcohol must have interacted with some medication and he was in a bad way. He was at a bus stop in town, suit and tie on, and must have been reported by a stranger and police called me as I'm ICE contact on his phone. Poor man and I'm grateful to whomever did contact the police. Got him home and he had no memory of it at all. Never happened before or after.

IME ‘spiked’ is what people say when they’re embarrassed about how drunk they’ve got, when actually very few people are truly spiked

Gross.

Strip club.

😂😂
Very few men are interested in these, so it’s rather unlikely.
Sounds like he just got too pissed and had a nap somewhere

I got spiked once (I’d only had two drinks so can’t have been drunk). I passed out in the toilet for five hours, vomited everywhere and felt so embarrassed. I’m so thankful I passed out in the toilet as I dread to think what would have happened if not. The timeframe sounds like he could have been spiked. It is confusing when it happens. I’d say to leave it for now and revisit it when he’s feeling a bit better. Maybe he really doesn’t remember what happened at the moment.

"Unless he had a blackout (which is rare and confined to alcoholics generally) then he knows where he was"

Eh? What utter bollocks.

"No one carries cash and all paid on card so should be able to see on the bank that drinks were being bought?"

I carry cash. Loads of people do.

"IME ‘spiked’ is what people say when they’re embarrassed about how drunk they’ve got"

What a truly disgusting comment.

"He was probably just sitting on a bench and maybe passed out for a bit"

Yep. Very likely. OP don't give him a hard time today. God knows who these posters are but it sounds like he had one too many and nodded off somewhere.

His journey home is 90 minutes so I'm assuming it involves public transport/trains. He probably fell asleep waiting.
