What do you do after school?

If you pick your child/children up at 3/3.30, what do you then do? Do you take them home and make dinner, what do you/the kids do in the time between coming home and dinner?

We get the bus home and are usually home at around 4. Kids do reading and spellings every day (ages 8 and 11) so tend to get that done as soon as we get in. Sort clothes and anything we need for next day - swimming kit etc. Then they just chill until dinner time while I catch up with housework and cooking etc.
