I was watching last night, seeing the banner at the bottom of the screen announcing Rihanna's pregnancy over & over.. is it just me? She's just a bloody singer, right?
All the war, earthquake news etc.. Rihanna's pregnant. Okaaaay..

It's because we now have 24 hour news. They have to fill it with something.

Personally, I just filter out the bits I'm not interested in, which is most of it to be honest (love island, big brother, some film / music personality, strictly, etc etc)

What was on the main news while the banner was on

It is nice to see something that is not doom and gloom for once.
