I have to start by confessing I’ve never really liked Clarkson, for reasons to numerous (and possibly obvious) to go into here. I do quite enjoy Clarksons farm though as I feel like I learn something and like the other people involved.
Now obviously ignoring any biases in editing and taking things with a pinch of salt, is anyone else appalled by the behaviour of the local council. In my mind these people should be investigated for misuse of power and public money.
Local councillors by the looks of it have been using their power to make clarkson jump through hoops at the taxpayer expense, and putting blockers in the way of what seems like legitimate enterprise. If those blocks were challenged it would be taxpayer money that would be wasted.
whilst I don’t think for a moment that a celebrity should have a carte blanche to do whatever they like, and of course should be held to proper scrutiny; there seems to be a complete disregard by the council for what is right and proper.
in a year where budgets are squeezed but council taxes are going up again, I am appalled at the caviller attitude these people have towards our money. This program seems to have shed a light in a really shady area of public life, and these local people playing the system
