To wonder why more people aren't speculating more on the possibility of extraterrestrial beings?

The headline today on the BBC regarding the object shot down by US military is very interesting.
The US Military Commander has stated that they "have not ruled out that the objects were extra-terrestrial"

Anyway I for one welcome our alien overlords. Couldn't get any worse.

Only if they're friendly and not like the Aliens from "A Quiet Place"!

I posted this on another thread , but , yep, the conversation around UFOs has been changing in recent years.

The US is open about having pentagon programs and a current task force to look into what they are. Many heavyweight figures have acknowledged that there is a real mystery here - including Obama.

I'm not sure if these recent objects are showing the physics-defying movements that pilots and military have tracked and filmed and witnessed, and made public previously.

However, the fact that spokespeople are not dismissing or ridiculing the idea that they could be of extraterrestrial origin is indicative of the change in messaging since the publication of this article in 2017:

I'm really not ready for a quiet place type of alien invasion. I'd prefer if we had zombies like in twd

Because if someone/ something could actually travel tens of or millions of miles through space, a wee plane from earth ain't going to shoot it down easily in the first try......

WinnieFosterReads · 14/02/2023 01:50

But maybe that was just a decoy or it's like Wonder Woman's plane and the rest of it is invisible.
I do think it's quite sweet that the US just assume aliens would go there as though they couldn't resist the delights of Disney World and McDonalds.

This is what I thought… Surely with that kind of technology they would be able to defend themselves or have some sort of protective force field around their ship… 🤔

Maybe I’m just putting too much thought into it lol… It is very odd though… Who knows maybe they have shot down some sort of alien ships? 🤷🏼‍♀️

People used to think that the Stealth Bomber was a UFO

Though it's a good job that these 'balloons' haven't got horses faces on them as people would be screaming 'The Book of Revelations'

It will give the armchair detectives/scientists something to post about, they have had Covid, Nicola disappearance and now this. Plenty to keep them occupied, it's probably the same people with all three areas of expertise.

unique78 · 14/02/2023 09:57

Highly likely that there are life forms on other Earth like planets, I'm thinking Kepler 452b, but they're so far away that they couldn't reach us.

SD1978 · 14/02/2023 11:35

@pearlearringgirl would be a pretty big design flaw if they had no defences Confused

Throughabushbackwards · 14/02/2023 12:15

Cox is on board in any case Wink

I bought an air fryer lid for my Instapot and it turned it into ET's spaceship. True story.
