I used to love cooking

My nearly 4 year old twins have taken any joy I once had for it.

they used to be really amazing eaters, but have just got fussier & fussier. My biggest regret is giving one of my twins plain pasta 🤦‍♀️ If only I had a Time Machine

the other day I made a really easy sausage & gnocci in tomato sauce topped with mozzarella served with green beans and Brocolli. I thought it was amazing but because the sausage (which they normally love) was covered in sauce it was yucky

I never pander to it and I never do separate meals or alternatives but it’s just so frustrating

AIBU to say it’s definitely a massive chore now and can totally see why you could fall into a cycle of the same bland meals

ps I really am still hoping that this is a phase and the’ll magically one day wake up and love their food 😂

Yes, my kids did this to me to an extent. Starting to improve a bit now but I have also lowered my expectations...

But my husband and siblings are still appreciative of my cooking so sometimes I throw something beige in the oven for the kids and make the adults something nice!
