Facebook appear to be in the process of deleting my account as apparently it goes against community standards. I look at it often and rarely comment but I use messenger to keep in touch with some friends. I changed my password yesterday and uploaded a photograph at their request this morning but I’ve had a message saying that they are revising the information (pic below). Is this just a routine thing? Has anyone else had this happen?

I have had this for a work one. It’s irritating but takes time for them to reinstate it. I have had it happen before - they needed my MDs photo ID (it was her account). I think it took about two weeks to fix.

I've no experience of this myself, but I wonder if your lack of usage has flagged that it might not be a genuine account?

What was the communication from them before this one as surely that had information as to why they thought it might be against their community standards? Have you by any chance been hacked?

Thank you @BabyStopCryin @WeAreTheHeroes

@WeAreTheHeroes I log in every day and I comment or like a few posts every month or so. I’ve changed my password in case it’s been hacked but of course I can’t look at the security page to see if there are any other devices logged in.

@BabyStopCryin That’s good to know. The page I keep getting say that it could take a day to review but at busy times they might not get to do that. I’m concerned that it means that they’ll just delete it without review.

I think they have a fit every so any often and do this to make people send ID! A colleague at another company had the same thing. She said it took ‘ages’ to fix.
