To be really annoyed with my child minder

4 weeks a go I asked her if she could have my child over night because I am going clubbing for my birthday. She said yes that it would be no problem.

She waits until today to tell me is it possible she can do it from my house instead.

I have 4 people staying and wanted to get really pissed. So If I do go out I can't get pissed because I will have to deal with my baby if she wakes up. This was the whole reason for her staying over.

I am so annoyed I feel like screaming. I never go out and this is only the second time she would be staying at someone elses house in the 21 months since she was born.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Hmmmm although your daughter usually sleeps 7-7 in a different environment where she doesn't usually sleep at night I daresay she may be more wakeful.

She really should have considered this 4 weeks ago though.

I would call her and explain that you have lots of people staying so you're sorry but you can't change arrangements now.

The thing is I was let down and very annoyed. If I say I am going to do something I do it. I never let the person down. I expect the same in return.

The reason I didn't want her to look after my daughter at my house is because I wasn't planning on being back until 4am and had people saying over. I only live is a small two bed flat and wouldn't let more than 1 person stay when my daughter is here.

When my daughter falls asleep its very hard to wake her up ever she is. She is a fantastic sleeper and I am lucky.

I just can't believe that some people think its ok to let people down. They either do it themselves or have it done to them a lot.

If your DD sleeps 7-7 then she won't wake up for you so there isn't a problem is there?

I don't understand cos you contardict yourself

"So If I do go out I can't get pissed because I will have to deal with my baby if she wakes up."

"My daughter sleeps for 12 hrs straight and never wakes in the middle of the night. She a 7-7 girl so I really don't buy it"

Get a babysitter/CM/friend to go to your house and then leave when you get home

I am sorry if it's such a crime to want to have a lye in and to have a blow out once a year if even that. God I am so bad.

God I have expained why I didn't want it at my house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again here it comes.

RTkangaDYSONMummy this message was left just before your massage - 'The reason I didn't want her to look after my daughter at my house is because I wasn't planning on being back until 4am and had people saying over. I wanted to have a late night and didn't want to get up at 7am. Like many other parents do. I don't do it very often so stop penalising me for wanting a bit of fun and expecting someone to do something and then backing out.
