Bramley Primary School or Hook Junior School

We have put an offer on a house in Bramley, in Tadley Hampshire, but just heard that there are many children moved from Bramley to Hook just because B school is a not so good one. I understood that Hook is an outstanding school, but is Bramley's reputation really that bad? Please anyone give me some insights on this, many thanks.

My children didn’t attend either school so (apologies) no firsthand personal experience of either school.

However, via friends, my understanding is that Hook’s infant and junior schools have been consistently rated “outstanding” throughout the years, whereas Bramley School hasn’t. Their results have been more variable and, until the last inspection which was “good”, were always oscillating between “satisfactory/requires improvement”.

This has led to the “Hook good, Bramley bad” narrative. However, Bramley may remain on the upward trajectory and be a great school for your children.
