Dunelm delivery has damaged my walls

Hello, just had my wardrobes delivered from Dunelm and the delivery guys have completely wrecked out ceiling and walls. Has anyone had the same issue happen before and if so did Dunelm pay for the repairs?

That's what home insurance is for. If your insurers think Dunelm is to blame they will claim against Dunelm.

How have they damaged ceilings and walls? Was it whilst carrying it to a room?
claim on your home insurance. What did you say to the drivers at the time of the damage?

Would I hell be claiming my home insurance - take pictures and send an email straight to the CEO advising you expect this to be rectified. Make sure there are no disclaimers on the delivery policy first.

This is what they did! The delivery drivers apologised and said cal dunelm and they will get it sorted so I have. They've sent the photos off to the delivery company which dunelm own and hoping they accept liability. Fuming.

If they dig their heels in about this, go through your phone or camera and see if you've got a photo of the same area before this delivery happened, for comparable proof.

The OP is asking if it has happened to anybody else and whether they were left with the outcome of Dunelm agreeing to pay for the damage or refusing to.

I'm not sure why you're finding it difficult to understand?
