I do in the summer because my tomato plants are against the patio doors which is the sunniest spot in my tiny garden. Otherwise no - there are none that are in a place that would be a hindrance.

Ex window cleaner here. It depends on the customer, but if it's just laziness I'd be equally lazy when cleaning their windows.

I don't have pots where the plants impact the windows.
But I don't usually get enough notice to do anything for the window cleaner. If they want the gate unlocking, they need to let me know the day before, not after I've set off for work. If DH is wfh he will unlock the gate. Otherwise they need to scale it.
