Just venting. Last week parcel left outside front window and stolen, been onto DPD who say I have to contact sender - I know the contract is between sender and DPD but still, there was no ownership that the fault lay with them for not delivering properly.

now today am waiting in for outfit than I’m planning to wear for my mums funeral tomorrow. paid extra for morning delivery, have just received message saying they missed me and a picture of blurry house that is definitely not mine… have been onto customer services and waiting for call back, but FFS.

am just hoping they get hold of driver and send him my way, but all the other stuff I had to do today is now on the back burner while I wait. I’m SO cross

Did you ever get your parcel in time, OP?

I am fuming at DPD today, this is the third attempt made to deliver my parcel (apparently they 'missed' me - however I was in and waiting for the timeslot). Yesterday I complained in their customer service chat because the picture of the house they said was mine was clearly not. What happens is they won't come up our narrow street, or at least, some of their drivers will not. So their 'missing' me is deliberate. Today I was assured I would receive my parcel. I did not. Again I went to customer services to complain but they made the usual sympathetic noises and said they could re-arrange delivery to next Tuesday! In the end I cancelled my order and have gotten a refund. Am dreading any future deliveries from DPD. Or rather, NON-deliveries!

Yes I did in the end. They called back and said he would come to me by the end of his round late morning, and to be fair he did. I actually thanked him for coming back as he’d got the wrong house first time round and he gave me a patronising grin and said no, not me! Cheeky bastard.

Ha! Well I'm glad you got your parcel in the end. Yes they are very cheeky bar stewards!
