I have bottles of spirits that I will never drink that have been gifted to me over the years. Times are hard financially. Can I sell these? If so where can I sell them? X

Family and friends? Anything else could be dodgy and get you into more problems.

You could do what shoplifters do and go round the local pubs touting your wares I suppose. But you may just have it taken from you.

Make some hampers and sell them as gift sets on Marketplace

Unless you have an alcoholic beverages licence, this is against the law.

I thought this might be the case. I will ask friends and family x

As PP says, you need a licence to retail alcohol to general public, so YABU

Probably against the law but I sold a few unopened bottles to a local corner shop a few years ago

In Australia, there are specialist wine and spirit auctions. UK is sure to have the same.

The UK does have wine and spirit auctions but you may not make much
with odds and ends. It’s mostly rare stuff or cases.
