Paediatric kidney ultrasound

Hi everyone,my daughter had a kidney ultrasound in December(suspected uti)the lady who did the ultrasound didn’t say much at the end of the scan.Few weeks later we received a letter with the report(with all technical information which I didn’t understand)and stupidly me or my husband threw it away(we can’t find it anywhere).Yesterday I received a text message with confirmation of appointment at the children’s hospital for next month.So I am now panicking that something is wrong and with the lost letter I feel so anxious.
Do you usually have a follow up appointment?Or only if something is not right?

With the radiology report there is usually a summary at the bottom that says whether it's normal. It can't have had anything too concerning noted for you to just bin it.

Your daughters GP should get a copy of the report or at least be able to access it.
Maybe give them a call and see if that can shed any light on the results.

Will ring her gp first thing tomorrow morning and will ask if they have the report.
