Is this woo/premonition or nothing at all?

Since young, I've had regular occasions where I've randomly thought of something/someone/TV show etc and within hours or days- that thing becomes apparent. I'm not superstitious BTW, just intrigued if anyone can relate or I'm just weird?

Examples:- I think of an old TV show/scene from show- then that day/week its on TV or husband randomly watches it on netflix without me mentioning it

  • at Aldi yesterday, I picked up some slippers and considered buying, then thought my current ones are perfectly fine. Today, the sole of my slippers have almost come off. They were intact and good yesterday!
  • I try ringing a friend I haven't spoken to in months- but its engaged- because she is calling me at the exact same time!
  • I think of a recipe I haven't made in years/months so buy the ingredients and make- that night/next day a chef is showing the recipe on TV
  • I saw a plant in a shop- but decided not to buy it. The next day, mother in law had bought the same plant for me!
  • DH and I driving in silence on a long trip. He said 'You know' before he could continue further, I said 'Yes, I think the white one would suit better'. Months earlier, we were thinking of a new kitchen light. I have no idea how/why I knew what he was referring to when we hadn't discussed it in months?

I know many would think it odd or just plain coincidence but I don't think it's weird at all.
I've had similar experiences. Best to just accept that time isn't exactly linear and there's so much we don't understand.

I have, a couple of times, had a very strong sense something would happen - out of nowhere - and been proved right. I don't think these are premonitions though, I think I have been particularly attuned to what was going on and had picked up on things almost subconsciously. One was particularly chilling.

I get this too. I sometimes answer tv quiz questions before they're asked. I know when I'm going to win in raffles.

Dp and I have this constantly. We pick random thoughts up from each other. I'll often reach for my phone to answer it to him before it's actually ringing.

I'm not sure I can do it to order but it's virtually every day. I don't overthink it and enjoy freaking people out with it occasionally.

Ive had similar experiences too, I don’t think it’s unusual.

I love stuff like this. I often find if something is planned, but we aren't sure if it's actually happening or not, I sort of try to tune into whether I feel it's going to happen or not. And it's almost always right.

Prob just overthinking + chance, but still I find it interesting.

Tuesday night my youngest DC spent the night vomiting. Then Wednesday morning my 8 year old started. She said that the Tuesday night she had a dream about being really sick and her braided hair falling out. Maybe she could subconsciously hear me dealing with the youngest or she felt very sick in her sleep?

I've had a couple of incidents in the last few years.

A couple of years ago I had an urge to google my old childhood house that I hadn't thought about in over 20 years - only to find that it had been listed for sale on rightmove earlier that day.

A couple of years before that, one evening as I was getting into bed I had a random thought about what might have happened to the twat who tried grooming me as a child. Again, I hadn't thought of him for a a couple of decades - but google brought up the local newspaper from where I'd grown up and there was a news story published that day saying he had been convicted of various child sex offences around the time he was trying to convince me to go his house after school.
