Loved her odd bits on Charlie Brooker. Love Motherland, but find the whole Cunk on thing a bit Dennis Pennis really. One or 2 are amusing...

How did they get credible historians etc to actually be interviewed?!

apparently they tell them it’s a spoof but just to go with it and answer questions as if it was serious. So the reactions are real, but they do know the questions are a piss take. And they don’t see the questions in advance.

Diane Morgan is just brilliant, she can't do anything wrong as far as I'm concerned (along with Tamsin Greig, Michelle Gomez and Katherine Parkinson. Now that would be quite the dream dinner party guest list...).

I particularly love Mandy, though (especially the episode where she gets a job in a banana factory).

I think it's a character that has a limited life, perhaps the joke has run its course.

Diane Morgan an excellent actress though and love her in Motherland.

I know (not well, they’re someone who taught me as a student) someone who was interviewed on it and they are the most serious, humourless person you could ever meet. I spat out my wine when I saw them on it.

My favourite Mandy was the ‘Who are you do you think?’ with Deborah Meadon. It proper tickled me!

I love Cunk. The first series was the best because the experts really didn’t know it was satirical so their reactions are much better. Diane Morgan said they would sit down for an hour or so and she’d ad lib a lot of it and the best bits were then taken for the show. Later seasons the experts knew what to expect for the most part.

Absolutely brilliant show. Diane Morgan us a comic genius. Love her in everything she does.
