It's impossible to determine if it's trauma or ND

...because psychiatrists who diagnose autism & ADHD aren't qualified to diagnose trauma and trauma therapists aren't qualified to diagnose autism.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. I just don't know how to go about working things out for myself. I don't know weather to invest my finances and my trust into trauma treatment or into getting assessed for autism and ADHD.

@bobbytorq @TreaterAnita ...because if I get assessed for autism & ADHD that's all they are testing for. It doesn't say anything about whether they are trauma informed or assessing for trauma too.
I've been looking at psychiatry-uk.com

There are differences between social difficulties due to trauma or anxiety vs anxiety caused by social difficulties. A good diagnostician should be informed regarding the differences in order to make an appropriate diagnosis. They won't be able to treat the anxiety issues though. If thinking about it, when you contact them, you can ask about their skills/experience to clarify if they'll be able to offer what you're looking for

You need a multi disciplinary assessment. They do this all the time for adopted and looked after children where they’re not sure if it’s attachment and/or autism. Have a look at Psychology Associates if you’re in the south west. They specialise in this.
