N/c. Can I have some advice please?

I bought a household device from a company and it lasted 2 years and a few months. Approx £230. It’s now stopped working and out of warranty. The company say they can’t repair it. They have given me a £20 voucher (for their products). Nice of them but I’m still without said device and have the impact on house/ household until I shell out to buy a new one. Annoying!

I left them a 1 star review on a very well known review site. The review was an honest review for the machine which you would expect to last more than 2.5 years. I think it’s only fair to let others know my experience of the brand. They have gone back on after ‘investigating’ and said sorry for this experience but they’ve given me a £20 voucher. (Which they have).

I’m now in 2 minds what to do about the review. Should I:

  1. Amend review thanking them for the voucher but leaving it at 1 star? Or
  2. amend review thanking them for voucher and change the rating to 2 or 3 stars?

What is fair? What do you think?

Neither. Or leave as one star and reply saying thanks for the voucher but I am still out of pocket by £210

Does it matter? Not to be harsh but what’s the point in worrying about this?

This. £20 doesn't change it stopped working after 2.5 years and £20fpe "their" products = they fet aboir £200 more from you if you replaced. I kinda find it insulting.
