Firstly, I admit I bought quite a cheap computer (about £500 two years ago) so never expected anything fancy. But it is absolutely doing my head in. Every bloody time I try to use it (about once a fortnight) it takes forever to load up and then starts a bloody security scan. I’ve tried changing the settings so that it scans in idle. I’ve tried cancelling the updates and scan as they’re running. But the damn thing ignores my instructions and takes a solid 20 minutes to decide to even open a browser!
