Milk substitutes…

Just made a coffee only to realise we don’t have any milk. I don’t fancy a black coffee (mostly because I’ve made it far too strong).

I have the following milk-ish things:
White chocolate protein powder
Greek yoghurt
Breastmilk (my own… but I think milking yourself into your coffee seems fairly depressing 😂)
Vanilla ice cream

what would you go for?

I’m leaning towards the affogato!

Have you any potatoes op?
We tried this recently.
It actually tastes like raw potatoes so I am not suggesting it is nice mind!!
Hi sorry Sandra I can't meet for coffee. Stuck at home milking my potatoes today...

Sorry but I’d stick with black!

LovedFedAndNoonesDead · 01/02/2023 15:24

I’d chuck it and make hot chocolate!!

Reallybadidea · 01/02/2023 15:27

I'd chuck and go to the shop. A bad cup of tea is worse than no cup of tea.

Surely this can’t be real?!?

If it’s too strong for you to drink black as it is, can you dilute with more hot water. Not of your options sound very appealing to be honest.

Coconut oil or butter and use a stick blender or whisk really fast! It will emulsify it and give it creaminess

Dartmoorcheffy · 01/02/2023 15:29

Butter

Seriously, it's keto coffee and it tastes surprisingly OK.

TooSmallForTheMembrane · 01/02/2023 15:31

I went for the white chocolate protein. It’s unreasonably sweet but if you like sugar in coffee it’s probably not too out there. It’s like a sickly mocha.

I'd have gone either affogato or breastmilk.

Very real and very unpleasant!
