Are Ryanair deliberately obtuse?

I'm trying to book a flight from realtively obscure Airport in one country to realtively obscure Airport in another country.

Using Google snd Skyscanner, it looks like Ryanair connect my RO Airports through Stanstead and it could all possibly work like a dream.

BUT Ryanair's website will not connect the dots! I can only enquire about single legs and then I must offer up my first born (or sign in). Am I missing something? I haven't flown Ryanair for decades after a traumatic debacle but needs must.

Is there an easy way to deal with them or is this the price to pay?

So IABU: Ryanair are totally user friendly.
YABU : yes, they do make things less easy than necessary

Ryanair are awful. Nearly every time I've been tempted by their "low" fares and exotic destinations I've been let down badly. My advice would be to book with Easyjet and get a train to wherever you want to go.

I've flights booked with Ryanair and Easyjet at the moment. Never had a problem with Ryanair but Easyjet have changed the returnflight from our summer trip from a civilised mid-morning on a Thursday to late Saturday evening lwss than a week after booking. Itmwant we had to re-arrange leave, find extra accommodation, amend kennel, car hire and parking booking, change insurance details etc. The worst delays I've ever had were Easyjet (5 hours). Never had a delay of more than a few minutes with
I can't understand the love. I can understand people not liking any low cost carrier but the love for Easyjet passes me by. And I fly Ryanair regularly as they are the only carrier from the UK to where my son lives.

I did have a giggle at "exotic" destinations here.

OP, you said upthread that Ryanair weren't much cheaper than the national carrier.

Then use the national carrier. It's a no brainer. That bit of extra money will buy you a half decent service, a bite to eat on the plane, some checked in luggage and above all else, some peace of mind that if something does go tits up, somebody might give a shit.

If the flights with Ryanair are coming in "on a par with Iberia and BA", why not just book with them?

stepkidscopingstrategy · 01/02/2023 08:54

Ryanair are great. You fly with a small rucksack and you check in online 24 hours before you fly and you pay the best fare. You want extras - you pay. We use them all the time. They are more reliable than easyjet. They don't do connections. It's all simple - until you need customer services- so try not to need customer services lol

Maybe yes. Maybe we could add the Canary Island as well😁

thisplaceisweird · 01/02/2023 11:24

For the love of God just book with BA!!

Ryanair is great for quick cheap city breaks, but they really only do one flight at a time, and that's it.

purplecorkheart · 01/02/2023 11:27

Ryanair is a point to point airline and do not do connection. It is one of the reasons that they or they claim to be cheaper than other airlines. I would book with another airline if you want connections.

I hate the Ryanair website
