DH and I slept in some amazing beds on honeymoon, the best being at the four seasons (I know you can buy the four seasons mattresses but they’re ££££) it was so soft it was like sleeping on a cloud, no bad back, just sunk in and slept like a baby.

We ordered an Emma mattress thinking it might be better than our older, firm one but tbh, it’s not as soft as we’d have liked, it’s a bit softer than the one we had, but not by much.

Can anyone recommend a good, soft mattress that won’t wreck your back?

We’re really pleased with our new Hypnos premier inn mattress! I think it’s the perfect balance between firm & soft.

Just bought a super king mattress from Somnus. Its the best thing I've ever purchased. They're not cheap though, ours was a mid range one and was £2k

We got an Emma Original end of December (I'd waited YEARS to get a new mattress!) and I find it so hard and hot to "sleep" on... Can't believe they market it as medium 🙄 I'm now looking to return it and find a soft one... My friend recommends this...

I have a john lewis mattress from the natural collection, they tend to be a little on the soft side, so my medium mattress is wonderfully soft, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Sometimes seconds are available on ebay.

Hypnos. British company too.

I got a good deal by going to their actual outlet.
