Deal breakers

I was chatting with my friends about what would be my deal breakers if i ever dated again in the future (married for 7+ years) You know the kind of hypothetical chat you sometimes have.
Here were mine:
-if didn’t drive (we don’t live in London, public transport is not cool here)
-more than two kids (i chose to have one and only)
-not financially stable (i owned a house in my late twenties and would want them to being similar things to the table)
-if he couldn’t cook or wasn’t domesticated
-smoked at all or drank excessively
-if he wouldn’t go on a plan
-didn’t read the news or have some awareness of the world around us
There were a few others but they were the main ones.
My friends were shocked and said that’s way too fussy and unreasonable. I’m not intending to divorce my husband so it doesn’t really matter BUT my friends’ reaction has made me question if i’m am a fussy unreasonable person.
I never said I wouldn’t respect people that had these qualities just that they wouldn’t be for me.
Whats up with that?

Mine would be much longer OP. All of yours (except for the children bit - I love kids so that wouldn't bother me and the cooking).
Mine would also include - having a beard, tattoos, a football season ticket, poor hygiene.

I'm happily married too though!

I'm with you on all of that OP. No doubt someone will be along to tell you you're shallow soon 🤣

Not driving would be a big one for me too! Probably also not having any kind of hobby, my hobbies are important to me and I would need someone who understands that!

I agree with most of those.

Not too bothered about cooking or going on a plane though and I don't think I'd mind if he had more than two kids unless they were with multiple women or he didn't have contact with them.

Anyone who is at all religious is a definite no for me.
