Pre Nuptial Agreement Template

We would like to set up a pre nuptial agreement.
Does anyone have a good precedent document for a pre nuptial agreement or know of a website to download a good one?

We are in agreement but need to get it in writing and will get independent legal advice before signing.

Get a lawyer to draw one up surely? If you want a prenup you must be able to afford one.

If you are in the kind of relationship that requires a prenup, then you also require a lawyer. Not the other party's lawyer – a lawyer for you. Good luck.

No, we can’t really afford the legal fees. But I came into the relationship with a property and I want to protect it in case anything should go wrong and I am on my own. My partner agrees that this is fair.

I think that I have found a suitable document online, but had hoped to get some Mumsnet wisdom. We live in England so it’s under English law.
