Yes, I know. The chemicals. The dosh. Influencers, pffttt .

But.

I LOVE IT.

The pristine spotless houses.
Llamas.
Insane front door decoration schemes.
Immense Christmas tsunamis.
The teeth. So many teeth.
The perfectly manicured one-handed 'cleaning the already gleaming' stainless steel frothathons.

I've read a lot of bashy posts.

But is there anyone else on here who enjoys the whole bonkers business?

Anybody?

I can see why you like it OP it all looks perfect but it's not real life is it?
Well not in my house anyway😂

JFDIYOLO · 25/01/2023 15:57

I think you've nailed it @Thedogscollar ... It's not my real life, either! 🤣

elliejjtiny · 25/01/2023 15:59

Me!! It's not my real life either but I quite often wish it was.

Penguinsista · 25/01/2023 16:00

I like them. They are cheerful

MaverickSnoopy · 25/01/2023 16:01

I don't like their style but I like the concept of a version of perfection. I would love a well groomed house and to make it something that I feel I float through, rather than passing the endless piles of crap on the stairs that only I carry up.

Mercurial123 · 25/01/2023 16:02

No, it's awful and bland.

StLevanBlackcaps · 25/01/2023 16:03

Their style is not mine at all but I dislike them less than a lot of 'influencers'. Both seem like nice people - I was going to say 'if not the brightest' but looking at how well they've done they cant be all that daft!

Cleanthatup · 25/01/2023 16:05

I hate it!! These brainless idiots trying to push unreal perfection on impressionable and often venerable women. Many of which then get into debt and aspire to this BS

TheyDontgetIt · 25/01/2023 16:07

I find their houses too clinical ? Just too perfect. I follow someone on Instagram with the most amazing house and a very real family and life. They are currently redecorating after a huge extension and her eye for colour and detail is amazing the house is full of brights and patterns and it’s real. Raising seven in Devon is the name of the page she has a fb page too. I’m constantly checking to see house updates as you just wouldn’t believe how good a bright house can look and she has all the tits from my childhood it’s amazing a whole room of retro toys

TheyDontgetIt · 25/01/2023 16:08

tits - bits !!!!!!!

xogossipgirlxo · 25/01/2023 16:09

I think there is a group on fb of Mrs.Hinch lovers. I don't mind clean house, I am still working on improvement in this area, but the amount of sprays she uses, gawd. How come those kids and dog don't have asthma, it's miracle.

Habber · 25/01/2023 16:13

There is a downside to this influencing which isn’t fun.

i remember when I moved house, with barely any money left, crying one night has I didn’t have all the nice things I saw on Insta and thinking about how shitty my house looked. The previous tenants left the house disgusting so I bought so many different cleaning products based on their recommendations or spending ages faffing around with bicarbonate and vinegar. Then I realised everything gleams in their houses because its brand new, and clean, not because of flash bathroom cleaner. My garden looks a bit shit cos I don’t have it professionally landscaped. I realised how much it was negatively impacting me and stopped following both of them

Arushofbloodtothehead · 25/01/2023 16:13

DC got me Mrs Hinch pjs for my birthday which are so soft and comfortable.

Beercrispsandnuts · 25/01/2023 16:20

I’m finding mrs Hinch a bit boring now, it’s all just the same stuff and adverts. I still click but I click through now. I find Stacey more amusing.

mrs Hinch is the same stuff every day now, here’s some llamas in the house, here’s me making lunch, here’s Ronnie talking, here’s the kids playing, here buy my book, look at my house. It feels so commercialised and no longer genuine..

stacey seems more engaged, but I guess she’s successful as a tv presenter, so insta isn’t her main gig.

mrs hinchs has literally been taken over and is just stuff she needs to do now.

Heronswater · 25/01/2023 16:31

Maybe she’s a perfectly nice individual, but her online persona, activities etc suggest a vapid nonentity with horrible, twee taste and reactionary ideas.

But obviously, the glory of the internet is that there’s space for everyone, whether it’s furries who also write poetry in Klingon or people who like documenting cleaning their houses.

LynneBenfield · 25/01/2023 16:41

Their content is not to my liking but YANBU to like them. They have loads of fans, so you’re hardly unusual.

UWhatNow · 25/01/2023 16:50

I don’t know Hinch but that stereotypical lowbrow Essex celebrity with Turkish teeth is unfathomable to me. I just wish young woman had better role models than vapid, house proud foghorns.

Mercurial123 · 25/01/2023 17:04

Apartment Therapy is so much better and features stylish homes, which are lived in and have far more imagination than influencers paid to promote crap.

I’d forgotten Apartment Therapy! I used to love the tiny living spaces subsection, which often had really clever design and mad little Manhattan studios.

Bluevelvetsofa · 25/01/2023 17:10

Whether you like or approve of them and what they do, they have made enough money to keep their families in comfort. I don’t know anything about Mrs Hinch, except that she’s an influencer, but Stacey Solomon has carved out a career, following a stint on X Factor. I think it’s a mistake to dismiss her as a lowbrow Essex celebrity. She might not be RG uni material, but she’s savvy and not thick.

Rebel2023 · 25/01/2023 17:16

Dark rose interiors is my IG crush!

I'm looking at downsizing in the next few years and finding the small living ideas really helpful.

bagelbagelbagel · 25/01/2023 17:22

I hate that stupid swirly font on all the containers and I also want to know who the hell decants all their dry food goods when they come in resealable bags?

Also the amount of chemicals these women encourage people to release into the atmosphere/pump into the sea is bordering on catastrophic tbh.

strawberry2017 · 25/01/2023 17:30

I like them, they seem like nice people you could have a laugh with.

afinishedkiss · 25/01/2023 17:57

I can't deal with either of them. Nauseatingly vapid, overly sentimental, grey themed, Bee Gee toothed blandness. They are honestly nothing to aspire to though many buy into their perfect life bullshit, purchase their overpriced, cringy merch and further line their pockets. They are manically laughing like horses all the way to the bank.
