But can anyone explain to thicko me what apple TV is? DC13 wants to buy the device, but I have literally no idea what the point of it is, or how it relates to the apple TV app, or what apple TV plus is. We already have Netflix, Prime, and Disney plus.
Can DC watch Netflix on it? Are there loads of good programs that are only available on Apple? Do you actually need the device, or can you cast it to eg a Chromecast?
(I've tried googling, but the info requires a baseline of knowledge that I don't have).
