I might be late to the party but we just put on our monitor yday. Wondering how much everyone is spending. Wer 2 adults and 2 kids under 8. 4 bed detached house, it's new build so (should be) well insulated. Yday the total of gas and electric came to nearly £8. We put heating on maybe max 4/ 5 hours (me and oh both wfh). Put dishwasher on, didn't even put a washing or tumble load on and didn't cook as ate at mums house last night. Kids barely watched tv, obviously had the usual lights on.

When iv seen other ppl saying they spend max £4 and having used many more appliances. What are ppl averaging?

2 adults, 1 child, 4 bed terrace, approx £3.50. Depends what you mean by "the heating" though - ours has been at 17 today. Some people stick it on at 20/21.

So we don't really have thermostat on, just put it on for 2 hours in morning for kids wake up etc and warm house up as we wfh, and then have it on in the evening. We have put it on during day sometimes when it gets cold again
