Bras fir big boobs

Posting here party for traffic. I'm a 36 G/GG bra and I'd really like to find a soft cup bra that doesn't push my boobs into a mono boob. This seems to be an impossible task. Does such a thing exist? Not looking for a sports bra unless it keeps boobs separated like an underwired one.

If you possibly can, I would encourage you to invest in a bra fitting with www.rigbyandpeller.com/en-gb/appointment-booker-in-person

In my early '20s, I was made so miserable by my size and shape, that I saved up (and lived on bread and water for a good long time) for a fitting. It made such a difference

Now, I only need to go back if I've gained or lost a lot of weight. To say they have transformed my life is an understatement.

Hope you can experience the same.

Thank you but they don't seem to do one. Plenty of soft cup but they all result in a mono boob!

Thank you. I'll check them out. Have you got soft cup ones from them?

Have you tried the Bravissimo bralets? Won't get you through aerobics but otherwise reasonably supportive

NotAnotherBathBomb · 23/01/2023 14:11

M&S soft touch full cup. My favourite.

Sleepinatent · 23/01/2023 14:14

Have a look at Molke. I found them when breastfeeding but they're not breastfeeding specific and I'll never wear a "normal" bra again

Rugby and peller sold me an altered bra that I couldn't get on on my own. Awful costly experience.

Bravissimo were much better.

Miss Mary are good

FinallyHere · 23/01/2023 14:38

@tothelefttotheleft Interesting how our experiences differ. I've tried different branches of Bravissimo and not been offered anything that I could wear.

@Wouldlovetobeinthesun I'm not absolutely sure whether what I wear is a soft cup, but I do know that the are perfectly comfortable, I feel no urgency to remove them as soon as possible. Indeed, I'm much more comfortable wearing than not wearing their bras.

Hope you find what works for you, too. If you do decide to try R&P, it really is worth booking a fitting in a branch and also letting them know what kind of clothes you will be wearing on top of whatever you want. That way they will be able to give you the very best advice they can.

I was sold on my very first visit as an extremely embarrassed young woman. It was winter and was wearing an oversized puffa duvet style coat. No sign of any tape measures and the fitter guessed the right size even before I took off my coat. Of course, they said 'just try this one for size' and had me try lots of others. I've been wearing that first model I tried for decades now.

Having someone understand me do well transformed my relationship with my body. It's what I would wish for, for everyone.

Bluevelvetsofa · 23/01/2023 14:51

I agree with R&P wholeheartedly. I only wish I could afford them now.

Wouldlovetobeinthesun · 23/01/2023 16:41

Thanks everyone. Rugby and Peller it is then!

Another vote for Miss Mary. They are the best I've found. R&P not a goer unfortunately as I live in Cornwall

There's a brand called Goddess that one of my DDs wears.

SkydiveMonty · 23/01/2023 17:56

Elomi, possibly

Curvy Kate - 2 uplifted boobs and cheap as chips from bra stop.
