There are claims the chairman of the BBC helped Boris Johnson secure a loan - weeks before the then-prime minister recommended him for the role.

The Sunday Times says Richard Sharp was involved in arranging a guarantor on a loan of up to £800,000 for Mr Johnson

Apart from the obvious worries about why boris recommendations for top job..

What did Boris need 800k for?

What did Boris need 800k for?

Because he haemorrhages money trying to fund a lifestyle his talents do not support.

Remember he needed someone else to pay for his wallpaper.

Boris is a profligate spendthrift with zero moral compass. Bullshittery and monumental self-delusion are his only two stand-out talents, so corruption was inevitable once we were stupid enough to hand him the top job without sufficient oversight. It's why grift is the cultural norm in politics at the top right now. None of those in charge have any real talent except for recognizing that they'd better feather their own nests now while they have the chance (and fuck the rest of us).

Boris must be struggling a bit financially now that lucrative and important jobs are no longer in his gift in return for freebies from his mates.

Is his eighteenth baby-mamma not a qualified/trained something, and thus able to earn a crust too?
